For immediate threats to a child's safety, call 911. WeWillHelp is a public-safety awareness tool — it is not a substitute for emergency services, law enforcement, or professional risk assessment.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of WeWillHelp (a privately built and operated child-safety platform; "WeWillHelp," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the WeWillHelp website, mobile-installable progressive web app, APIs, or any related service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (school, employer, agency), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create a WeWillHelp account or subscribe to Premium. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
The "Safe" tab includes a child-facing safety chat for minors ages 9–17. This feature is anonymous, requires no account, and does not collect personal information. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of any internet service, including this one.
WeWillHelp aggregates publicly available information for community child-safety awareness, including: registered sex offender data from official state registries (via Offenders.io), missing-children data from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), AMBER and equivalent alerts from state law enforcement, trafficking corridor information from public reports, and educational content based on peer-reviewed child-safety research.
WeWillHelp also provides AI-generated area summaries, grooming pattern analysis, and child-safety chat support, powered by Anthropic's Claude API.
WeWillHelp is not a law enforcement agency, professional risk assessment service, background-check provider, or legal authority. The information displayed is for general awareness purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
4.1 Account creation. Some features require a free account. You provide an email and password. You may also sign in with Google. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the email address provided.
4.2 Email verification. We may require you to verify your email address before some features become available.
4.3 Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.4 One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits or other restrictions. We reserve the right to detect and terminate duplicate accounts.
4.5 Account termination by us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt to bypass security or rate limits, or engage in any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. Where practical, we will give notice; for serious violations, we may terminate without notice.
4.6 Account deletion by you. You may delete your account at any time from account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy retention windows. Some records (payment history, terms-acceptance records) may be retained where required by law.
5.1 Free tier. WeWillHelp offers a free tier with daily usage limits (currently 2 AI briefings per day, 10 detailed offender profile views per day, and other limits described in-app). Free-tier limits may change as our costs change; we will not retroactively reduce limits for paid subscribers below what they had at the time of subscription.
5.2 Family subscription. Family subscriptions are offered at USD $7.99 per month or USD $59 per year (the yearly plan costs $59 rather than $95.88 billed monthly), or such other prices as may be displayed in the Service at the time of purchase.
5.3 Payment processor. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms (stripe.com/legal/consumer). We do not see, store, or have any way to retrieve your full payment card information.
5.4 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each renewal.
5.5 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Premium access until the period ends.
5.6 Refunds. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. We may issue refunds at our sole discretion for technical failures, billing errors, or where required by law. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 14 days of the disputed charge.
5.7 Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will attempt to retry per Stripe's standard policy. If the failure is not resolved, your account will revert to the free tier at the end of the grace period (typically 14 days).
5.8 Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' email notice to existing subscribers. The new price applies at your next renewal after the change date.
5.9 Beta-pricing acknowledgement. WeWillHelp is in early operation. Pricing and feature definitions may evolve. We will give existing subscribers reasonable notice of any material changes affecting features they have already purchased and will not retroactively reduce features below the level you subscribed at without offering a comparable alternative or proportional refund.
5.10 Chargebacks and disputes. If you believe a charge is in error, please email [email protected] first — we resolve almost every billing question within 48 hours and most are issues a refund will fix faster than a chargeback. If you initiate a card chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, your Premium access is suspended immediately upon notification from Stripe and may be permanently terminated if the dispute is decided in your favor. We retain the right to deny future Premium service to accounts with a history of unresolved chargebacks. None of this limits your legal rights — it is the cost-recovery posture of a small operator who cannot absorb chargeback fees from disputes that could have been refunded directly.
5.11 One-time annual access. The one-time annual plan ($79, 365 days, no auto-renewal) is a single non-recurring purchase. If you request a refund within 14 days of purchase AND have used fewer than 25 paid actions (profile views, AI lookups, Compare runs, walk-route runs combined), we will refund in full. After 14 days OR after 25 paid actions, refunds are pro-rated for the unused portion of the year at our discretion. Refunds revoke Premium access immediately.
5.12 Voluntary contributions are final. One-time voluntary contributions (the "Donate" / "Support" flow) are gifts, not purchases of any service. They are non-refundable except in cases of demonstrated card fraud or duplicate-charge errors. They are not tax-deductible — WeWillHelp is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
You may use WeWillHelp for personal, non-commercial public-safety awareness, including:
The following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violations may be reported to law enforcement and will result in immediate account termination without refund.
7.1 No harassment, threats, or violence. You will not use any information from the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, contact, photograph, surveil, defame, or commit any crime against any individual, including individuals listed on the sex offender registry. Registry inclusion does not authorize private retribution.
7.2 No FCRA-regulated decisions. WeWillHelp is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA") or any equivalent state law. You agree NOT to use Service data to make any decision regarding: employment, tenancy, housing, insurance, credit, business licensing, government benefits, education enrollment, or any decision regulated by FCRA or comparable state laws.
7.3 Compliance with state registry-use laws. You agree to comply with all applicable state laws restricting the use of sex offender registry information. Examples: Florida F.S. §775.21(7)(d), California Penal Code §290.46(j)(1), Texas Penal Code restrictions, and similar provisions in other states. These laws commonly prohibit using registry data for harassment, vigilantism, employment, housing, education, insurance, or commercial solicitation.
7.4 No commercial scraping or redistribution. You will not scrape, copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit data or content from the Service without our written permission. The aggregated database, AI summaries, and original Safety Guide content are our intellectual property.
7.5 No surveillance. You will not use the Service to identify, locate, surveil, or build profiles of individuals beyond the general public-awareness functions provided.
7.6 No misuse of AI features. You will not use the area-briefing, grooming-analyzer, or kid-chat features to evaluate, screen, or make decisions about identified individuals; to attempt to extract training data; to test for prompt injection vulnerabilities; or for any purpose other than the safety-education purposes intended.
7.7 No circumvention of security or rate limits. You will not bypass, reverse-engineer, or interfere with rate limits, authentication, daily usage caps, or any technical protection. You will not use multiple accounts, VPNs, or browser fingerprint spoofing to extend free-tier limits beyond what is provided.
7.8 No illegal use. You will not use the Service in any manner that violates any applicable local, state, federal, or international law.
7.9 No abusive automated access. Automated access (bots, crawlers) is permitted only for the limited purpose of search-engine indexing of public pages and only in accordance with our robots.txt. All other automated access requires written permission.
8.1 Source data. Sex offender registry data is sourced from official state registries via Offenders.io. Missing-children data is sourced from NCMEC. Trafficking corridor information is based on publicly available reports from federal and state sources.
8.2 No accuracy warranty. WeWillHelp makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data displayed. Registry data is updated periodically but may not reflect real-time changes.
8.3 AI features. AI-generated content is produced by third-party large language models (Anthropic's Claude) and is non-deterministic. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or contain errors. AI summaries are for general awareness only and do not constitute professional risk assessment, legal opinion, mental-health guidance, or any other regulated advice.
8.4 Verification. Always verify information shown in the Service with the official state registry, NCMEC, or local law enforcement before taking any consequential action.
9.1 Our IP. The WeWillHelp name, logo, platform design, original Safety Guide content, AI prompt engineering, and software are the property of the WeWillHelp operator. All rights reserved.
9.2 License to you. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9.3 Third-party data. Registry data displayed through WeWillHelp remains the property of the respective state agencies and NCMEC. Educational research citations reference their respective authors and publishers.
9.4 Feedback. If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without compensation or attribution.
Read this section carefully — it limits our liability.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REGISTRY OR ALERT DATA IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN THAT CASE, IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM SCOPE AND DURATION PERMITTED BY LAW.
Read this section carefully — it caps our maximum liability.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WEWILLHELP, ITS OPERATOR, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY EMOTIONAL OR PHYSICAL HARM RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IF YOU LIVE IN ONE, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY YOUR JURISDICTION.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WeWillHelp, its operator, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law (including any state sex-offender-registry-use law or the FCRA); (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.
Read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
13.1 Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The arbitration shall take place in Okaloosa County, Florida, or via remote hearing at the arbitrator's discretion. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
13.2 Class action waiver. YOU AND WEWILLHELP AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.
13.3 Exceptions. The following are not subject to arbitration: (a) actions to enforce intellectual property rights; (b) injunctive relief related to security, account access, or violations of Section 7 (Prohibited Uses); (c) claims that may legally be brought only in court under applicable law.
13.4 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to [email protected] with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of your first acceptance of these Terms. If you opt out, neither you nor WeWillHelp can require the other to arbitrate.
13.5 California, Massachusetts, and other state-law modifications. If any portion of this Section 13 is unenforceable in your state, that portion shall be severed and the remainder shall remain in force. Class action waivers may be limited or unenforceable in some states; in such states, claims will proceed in the manner permitted by state law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent any Dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 13, it shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Okaloosa County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access without notice for violations of these Terms or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, arbitration, governing law) survive any termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version number above changes when material updates are made. For material changes, existing account holders will be notified by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and asked to re-accept. For non-material changes (typo corrections, clarifications), continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
17.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties' intent.
17.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeWillHelp regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
17.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
17.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
